FLEXIBILITY:
The Benevolent Dictator modules have been designed to incorporate flexibility. There is provision for system wide changes as well as flexibility for individual cases. For example, in the patient letter and referring doctor letter, the opening and closing paragraphs can be modified to your liking. As many paragraphs as you desire can be added. The forms often provide a list of the most common choices followed by a blank were you can fill-in whatever text you wish. Blanks are often provided throughout a form for you to add unlimited comments. Narratives of individualized surgical procedures can be added to the system. Once added, a narrative can be selected by simply indicating so on the surgery form. Furthermore, individualized narratives can be added for a single case without being added to the system.
ENHANCEMENTS:
When Benevolent Dictator became available, it contained the knee and shoulder modules. Over the years we have expanded Benevolent Dictator to include many other modules. We intend to continue expanding the orthopedic package to all anatomical areas.
Most doctors use our standard Benevolent Dictator modules. With input from many doctors using Benevolent Dictator over the years, we have been able to create forms which meet the needs of almost every orthopedic doctor. We will continue to enhance these standard forms to meet future needs. We will welcome your input as well.
CUSTOMIZATION:
If you desire to set up a special application, we will be happy to review your request and develop a proposal. To properly analyze your requirements we will need a proposed input form and a detail of your output sentence construction. Developing an application takes a great deal of time, money, and energy. There is considerable time involved in analyzing the options. The customization cost to you can be significant. We are willing to make price quotations.
The Benevolent Dictator software has been designed in such a way that new forms and reports can be added without software modifications. The Benevolent Dictator software already exists (without bugs). We are ready to create your forms and reports. We can create a high quality application for less time and money than if you did it yourself.
